Pastor Mike’s Bible study ultimately directed to the conception of Calvary Chapel- San Diego, later recognized as Horizon Christian Fellowship. In 1993 Pastor Mike learned that the Lord is leading him to proliferate the organization by toting up more than a few supplementary outpost campuses roughly in San Diego County. Thus, Horizon North County was created and Pastor Mike requested one of his assistant pastors, Bob Botsford, to show the way to this recently placed church.

Pastor Bob Botsford served as an associate to Pastor Mike for seven years prior to being sent out by Pastor Mike to provide as Senior Pastor of Horizon North County. God has bestowed Pastor Bob the capability to educate in different emergent church His Word in a straightforward, yet influential and powerful way; allowing spectators of all ages to effortlessly discover and relate the philosophy of the Bible to their every day lives.
